“In the talk ‘Aspec* with World-Weariness,’ I will give a brief overview of J.K. Rowling’s attack on the asexual community on International Asexuality Day 2025 and the community’s responses. Afterwards, I will present practical ways for small but impactful everyday activism. In the final part, I will introduce resilience exercises to help protect against emotional strain and to deal with world-weariness in a strengthened way. The talk will conclude with a short summary and references to further resources.
